Refund policy

 At VDS Leathers, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we are here to help.

Notification of Return

  • Customers must notify us of a return within 7 days of receiving their order.

  • Please send an email to refunds@vdsleathers.co.za to request a refund.

  • We will respond with further instructions and a Refund Request Form to be completed.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to VDS Leathers.

Eligibility for Return

  • The item must be in the same condition as received, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Return Instructions

  • If the return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send the package.

  • Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Defects

  • Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

  • We do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds

  • We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. You will be informed if the refund is approved.

  • If approved, you will be automatically refunded within 10 business days.

  • Customers can also opt for store credit.

Our goal is for you to be happy with your VDS Leathers purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we will do our best to accommodate a replacement product or credit refund.

Pending Orders and Refunds

  • VDS Leathers may issue a refund if there are any pending fees, accounts, or agreements to be settled with the customer or merchant.

  • For security, all pending orders will be paused until all outstanding issues are resolved.

Warranty

The standard warranty for all products is 1 year from the date of purchase.

  • If a product is found to be defective, we will evaluate the issue and decide on one of the following solutions:

    • Repair the defect.

    • Replace the product.

  • VDS Leathers will determine whether to repair or replace the product after a thorough inspection.

Please note that defects do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear,

  • Alterations made to the product,

  • Damage due to negligence, misuse, or abuse,

  • Damage from improper care that should reasonably be expected.
